Boat Rental Information
Our rental boats are equipped with all necessary safety equipment to make your day on the Ottawa River fun and stress free. One lifejacket per adult is provided, however, we do not supply lifejackets for small children. Children must have their own properly fitted lifejackets with them.
A refundable damage deposit is required at the time of rental. The vessel will be inspected prior to the rental period, and re-inspected upon return. Any loss or damage incurred is the responsibility of the renter.
Renters are responsible for the fuel they burn. Boat is full at departure and is filled again upon return.
We strongly recommend that all individuals renting a boat have a pleasure craft operator card. Without this card you will be required to complete a Rental Boat Safety Checklist at the time of rental and carry the co-signed copy with you during the rental period as proof of competency.
No alcohol or BBQ's allowed on board any rental boat
Our Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made 10 days prior to rental will receive a full refund or rebooking. All cancellations made less than 10 days prior to rental are non-refundable and not eligible for rebooking. There is no refund or rebooking for inclement weather.
Port of Call Marina reserves the right to cancel your booking on the day of rental if it deems the conditions unsafe, in which case you will be able to rebook on at a later date.
Port of Call Marina reserves the right to substitute another boat for your rental period in the case of mechanical issues.
If a boat incurs damage during the rental period and can no longer be operated, there will be no substitution or refund. If a propeller or lower unit is damaged during the rental period, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for new replacement parts, for any towing of the boat, and for the time required to repair the damage.
All rebookings are final and no refunds or changes will be permitted.

Port of Call Marina is centrally located on the secton of river that spans 40KM from Fitzroy Harbour to the west and Ottawa's Britannia Beach to the East. We are a sort 20-minute drive from most parts of Kanata. Our prtected basin is the perfect place to begin a great day on the water whether you are exploring, fishing, swimming or just sitting in the sun. Our fully furnished pontoon boat would also be perfect for an Office Team-building day.
